David Thompson is President and CEO of InvesTrust and CEO of InvesTrust Wealth Management, LLC. Prior to joining InvesTrust in 2012, David was president of OPUBCO Communications Group and Publisher of The Oklahoman, Oklahoma’s largest newspaper.
Mr. Thompson is very active in the community and serves on the boards of Integris Health, The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, United Way of Central Oklahoma, The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, Allied Arts, and The Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
In his free time, David enjoys golf, motorsports, and spending time with his family.

Mark Williams, CFA
Mark is the firm’s Chief Investment Officer. In this role Mark is responsible for directing the firm’s investment strategy, including monitoring overall performance, developing long-range investment plans and strategies, overseeing securities investment operations and identifying market trends and opportunities.
Mark has over twenty-five years of experience in the investment and financial services industries. His career began as a security analyst and quickly progressed to portfolio management. After ten years managing multiple institutional portfolios, across multiple investment styles including value, core and growth, he became the first director of research for a $35 billion dollar institutional money manager. In this role, Mark led a team of more than twenty security analysts in the identification and research of timely investment ideas for multiple client portfolios.
Mark has also been responsible for leading several teams of investment professionals in the trust services industry. At each firm, he has led teams consisting of several portfolio managers responsible for billions of dollars in client assets. In these roles, Mark has been responsible for client service, team leadership, portfolio management, and client acquisition.
Mark’s academic achievements allow him to bring multiple disciplines to his work. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of the State of New York. His MBA and JD degrees were earned at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 1993 and is currently a member of the Oklahoma and Chicago CFA® Societies.
Mark, and his wife Michelle, have two almost adult children. He enjoys traveling with his family and helping his children achieve their dreams. Since moving to Oklahoma, they have quickly adapted to southern winters and have come to realize the importance of air conditioning!

Before moving to Oklahoma in 1977, Karen lived in California, Texas, Florida and Ohio. She attended Rose State College and completed the ABA’s Trust Graduate School as well as numerous seminars and classes related to Trust.
She has been active in the community as a Advisory Committee Member of the Lockhart Foundation, an animal rescue foundation as well as other charitable groups.
Karen is married to Mike Grant and has two adult children, Kelli who is a Second Grade Teacher in Moore schools and Kirk, who is active duty with the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
She enjoys spending her free time working on garden projects and spending time with family.

Jordan Young is a Trust Officer and has worked at InvesTrust Wealth Management, LLC since 2006. Growing up in Ada, Oklahoma he received a B.S. in Business Administration from East Central University. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association National and Graduate Trust Schools; and in 2015 obtained the ABA’s Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.
As an active community member, Jordan is the past president of the Lyric Understudies, a young patrons group of Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. He received a forty under 40 award from okc.biz magazine in 2011 and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL Class VIII. His civic activities have also included serving as Art Committee chair of the Omelette Party, an annual fundraiser benefiting the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma City.
Jordan’s main duties with InvesTrust include the fiduciary account administration of trusts, estates, investment accounts and IRA’s. He applies his education and experience to manage accounts in accordance with trust documents, applicable legal requirements and company compliance guidelines.

Peter Junkin serves in investment capacities for both InvesTrust Consulting, LLC and InvesTrust. At InvesTrust Consulting, LLC, he is Vice President and consultant. He is in charge of investment manager research as well as the main point of contact for clients. For InvesTrust, Peter is a member of the Trust Investment Committee and a trust officer. His responsibilities include overseeing research and analysis of investment managers and mutual funds for client investments.
Having spent most of his growing up in Edmond, Oklahoma, he then went to Oklahoma State University where he received his B.S. in Finance. Prior to joining InvesTrust in 2007, Peter spent 10 years in the construction industry doing analytical work as a project estimator.
Peter was the featured presenter at the Spring 2009 Oklahoma Stock Market Game Awards sponsored by the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education. He is a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Peter and his wife, Michelle, enjoy an active lifestyle including triathlons and marathons. They have two children: Amira and Sammy.

Prior to working at InvesTrust, Debbie was supervisor of trust securities movement at Bank of America. She is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and has attended several seminars and classes related to Trust. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
Debbie is married to Jerry and they have two dogs. Debbie believes that exercising and gardening are just some of the ways to relieve stress and stay healthy. She has completed four 1/2-marathons in the last 5 years. She is a member of the Oklahoma Cash Management Association.
Ryan joined InvesTrust as a Trust Officer in 2013. He grew up in Edmond and received a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. He received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa and is a licensed attorney. Ryan regularly advises clients on the design and implementation of all types of retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b) and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. He also assists clients with ERISA and fiduciary issues. He is a registered Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative.
Prior to joining InvesTrust, Ryan has worked in the employee benefits compliance field for large financial institutions in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dallas, Texas.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys golf, biking, and spending time with his wife, Brandi.

Shannon Carter, IACCP®
Shannon has been with InvesTrust Wealth Management LLC, since 2004. She serves as the Sr. Investment Analyst. Shannon conducts investment research and due diligence including: screening, evaluation, presentation and written reports to clients. In addition to research, Shannon works with the CIO in the research and evaluation of asset allocation models, performance monitoring and client education. Shannon serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for InvesTrust Consulting. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma. Shannon is a registered Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative and Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®).
Shannon lives in Edmond with her husband and three children.

Cathy serves in the role of CFO for all InvesTrust Wealth Management, LLC entities. She has over 25 years of accounting/finance experience, including public accounting, and personal trust accounting. Cathy works closely with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, along with several other regulatory agencies and audit firms, assuring the financial integrity in our company financial statements and various reporting. Additionally, she provides accounting and tax work for various clients. Cathy is a CPA and an active member with the AICPA, the OSCPA and the Oklahoma City Chapter of the OSCPA.
Cathy is originally from Oklahoma, and currently resides in Choctaw with her husband Rex. Cathy and Rex have one adult daughter, and a grandson that is their pride and joy. In their spare time Cathy and Rex enjoy a wide range of activities including scuba diving, rock climbing, and hiking.

Wendy is responsible for the financial reporting of all InvesTrust Wealth Management, LLC entities. In addition to monthly financial report production, she works with auditors, regulators and examiners. Additionally, she provides accounting and tax work for clients including individuals, businesses, foundations and non-profit organizations. She is also the Human Relations/Employee Benefits Coordinator and has her Professional in Human Resources designation.
Prior to joining InvesTrust, Wendy worked for two years for Grayce B. Kerr Fund, Inc., handling all the financial demands of the foundation as well as working with organizations seeking grants. This experience was preceded by seven years in the banking industry.

Matt Murphy is the Chief Technology Officer of InvesTrust Wealth Management, LLC where he manages the Information Technology Department. Growing up in Oklahoma, he received a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, and earned a Masters of Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix. Matt has worked in the information technology field in several capacities and has earned several certifications.
Balancing career with community involvement, Matt is involved in several activities, including supporting local arts programs through the OKC Midtown Rotary. He is also a member of the Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Association.
Always excited to learn and experience new things, Matt spends his free time cooking, auto racing, reading, and traveling.

Stephanie started working in the InvesTrust Retirement Specialists, LLC in 2007. Before coming to InvesTrust, Stephanie worked for Midland Mortgage for nine years. She is currently enrolled in the Business Administration program at Southern Nazarene University.
When she’s not working and going to school, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her daughter, Whitney.

Misty started working at InvesTrust Retirement Specialists, LLC as a Retirement Specialist in 2007. Her duties include processing employee benefit payroll data, handling employee benefit participant requests, and the timely processing of trades.
Before coming to InvesTrust, Misty worked for Midland Mortgage for five years.
Misty grew up in Little Axe and now resides in South Oklahoma City with husband Micah.
When she’s not at work, Misty enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and riding motorcycles.
Kristi has been in the banking industry since 2002. Previously a Sales and Service Associate for JPMorgan Chase Bank, Kristi joined InvesTrust in 2012 as a Retirement Plan Specialist. She graduated from Rose State College and the University of Central Oklahoma.
Kristi enjoys nature and the outdoors, attending church, traveling, and spending time with her family and Yorkipoo named Gizmo.
