Financial planning can be a scary thing. That’s why we’re here to help. We create a plan for your assets that’s customized just for you — whether you want to play it safe or take some risks. You have the control, and we’re here to listen and help. Together we can enter any number of arrangements that will make managing your wealth easier on you and also more productive.
Personal and Institutional Investments
InvesTrust provides services for both individuals and institutions. Individual accounts typically involve family trusts, personal investments, and savings. On the other hand, institutional services consist of large trusts setup for foundations and employee savings plans.
Determining your needs
We focus on what’s right for you. If you need an accountant or an attorney to help manage your group’s assets, we know the right people for you. If you need our services for only a short time, that can be arranged. We also work with long-term clients. If your needs change over time — as they very well might — we’ll be right there with you to adjust the plan without skipping a beat.
After we work with you to determine what needs you have, we can enter into any of three types of relationships:
At the basic level, InvesTrust can be a custodian of your finances. That means we hold your money in safekeeping — like stocks and bonds — and manage your financial transactions. With all of our services, you’re involved as much as you want to be.
Working as an investment agent, we search out profitable ways to invest your money – based on your willingness to take risks, and the timeframe over which you’d like to use your money. Our highly qualified team of investment managers can tailor a plan to any investment style.
As a trustee for your assets, InvesTrust assumes a direct and active role in the management of your wealth. Our trusted name and our long-lasting client relationships help us claim a financial and client track record that’s tough to match.
Naming InvesTrust as the trustee of your wealth can take a large burden off of your family members. A trustee works with a team – often hiring an accountant, attorney and a financial institution to help manage various needs.
With all of our clients, we use the most up-to-date data systems with time-honored investment techniques. That adds value to your portfolio and will give you and your loved ones lasting peace of mind.
Employee Retirement Plans
A 401(k) retirement plan lets you and your employees contribute to a happy retirement and a secure future. These pre-tax retirement accounts have many advantages, and quickly are becoming the plans of choice for companies of all sizes. InvesTrust can help create the plan to fit your company’s individual needs.
Here are some of the benefits:
- attract and retain qualified employees
- tax advantages for both the employee and the employer
- give owners and executives the same benefit opportunity as all employees
- employees can share in the cost of the company’s retirement plan
- employees are more involved in saving for their futures
- assist employees to accumulate their retirement funds faster than most other plan alternatives
The 403(b) retirement plan is basically a standard 401(k) plan, but one that’s designed for public schools and non-profit organizations. Employee contributions to these plans are made on a pre-tax basis.
These retirement accounts act like 401(k)’s, but don’t penalize you for taking money out of the account before you turn 60 years old. Taking out money early comes with a 10 percent penalty in some other plans. 457 retirement plans are available to governmental employers and some non-governmental organizations.
